EARLY VOTING
Early voting, in-person, starts 45 days before each election day. Sometimes, the 45th day falls on a weekend, in which case early voting will start the Friday before the 45th day.
Early voting also takes place on the two Saturdays immediately preceding election day.
The last day for early voting is always the Saturday before election day on Tuesday.
Early voting takes place for every primary and general election. There may not be early voting for special elections because special elections sometimes occur on short notice. Special elections are rare.
IMPORTANT: Early voting is at the Registrar’s Office, 45 Back St., Heathsville, across street from Primis Bank. ON ELECTION DAY, there is NO voting at the Registrar’s Office — ALL VOTING ON ELECTION DAY IS AT YOUR HOME PRECINCT, listed below.
