Drawing of crown crossed out over "NO KINGS". Saturday, Oct. 18

There are no kings in the United States of America. Not now. Not ever.

Turn out for this peaceful NO KINGS event to support each other and show others that we got the memo: America was founded as a “no kings” country.

Saturday, October 18, Noon to 2p, at the Old Northumberland County Courthouse (72 Monument Place, Heathsville).

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Date and time: Sat, Oct 18, Noon-2:00pm, Location: 72 Monument Place, In front of the Old Northumberland County Courthouse on Northumberland Hwy Rt 360, Heathsville, VA 22473

Description
Visibility and Our Approach
Public. Bring your signs. We will stand along the street on Rt 360 in front of the Old Courthouse and across the street. We will not interrupt businesses or cause disruption. We will not engage with those who may object to our message. Our signs will convey our message to all who drive by that in America we have no kings and we want to protect democracy and the rule of law.
